Work Study
The Work-Study Program provides part-time employment for undergraduate and graduate students to help fund their education. By participating, your department can hire student employees and receive a wage subsidy for a portion of their pay.
By participating in the Work-Study Program, you help students reduce student loan debt by earning toward their education costs. At the same time, they gain practical experience and transferable skills that better prepare them for graduate school and future employment.
Job Postings
When a job is posted in Workday, it is exclusively available to federal work-study students for the first five business days. This aims to increase transparency for student employment opportunities on campus and ensure the full and proper utilization of Federal Work Study (FWS) funds.
This period ensures that students who qualify for Federal Work Study funds have the first opportunity to secure employment.
