Liaison Network
Imagine our campus as a place where all its members make an effort—in how they live, work, and study—to adopt and spread more sustainable habits.
The Sustainability Liaisons Network (SLN) are cohorts of sustainability changemakers across academic & administrative departments and residential learning communities that influence sustainable behaviors through collaboration.

Sustainability Liaison Responsibilities
- Attend one 1-hour meeting each quarter.
- Educate your peers. Liaisons share new sustainability information and upcoming events with their peers through social media, physical bulletin boards, and/or announcements at classes or meetings.
- Provide feedback to the Center for Sustainability. Liaisons bring questions, concerns, and ideas to the Center for Sustainability.
Residence Life Sustainability Liaisons
Residence Life Sustainability Liaisons engage members of their residential learning community in sustainable behaviors to develop a culture of sustainability among students at SCU. Liaisons share and discuss events, ideas, and foster collaborative opportunities between multiple RLCs.
Residential Life Sustainability Liaisons are community facilitators who have been appointed to the "sustainability" emphasis area.
Departmental Sustainability Liaisons
Departmental Sustainability Liaisons integrate sustainability within their respective programming in order to develop a culture of sustainability among students at SCU. Liaisons share and discuss events, ideas, and foster collaborative opportunities between multiple offices and centers. Open to staff and faculty members.
